Points Jewelry is a small, woman owned and operated business located in the heart of the Sonoran Desert. Our jewelry is meant to embody an appreciation for the breathtaking and satisfying beauty found in the most simple of shapes. Each line, curve, and angle is hand formed with care, in the hope that it will fulfill the wearer’s desire for minimal, effortlessly beautiful, and wearable jewelry. Each and every piece is carefully crafted by hand using gold filled and sterling silver materials to ensure wearability and longevity.
Get to Know the Maker
1.How did you get started with your craft/business?
I began making jewelry in 2009 when I got a part time job working at BEADholiday, a locally owned bead store. As soon as I made my first piece, I wanted to learn as much as I could about jewelry making. Soon after I took a metal smithing class at Pima Community College and eventually began apprenticing under another local jewelry designer, Clare Johnston of Lila Clare Jewelry. Bit by bit I began building a business of my own.
2. What are some of your favorite local businesses?
I have to shout out BEADholiday again since it is one of the best bead stores on a local and national level, we’re very lucky to have it in our little city. They have an incredible variety of jewelry making supplies, beads, and more and they cater to beginning crafters and experienced professionals alike.
3. What is your favorite item you're creating right now and why?
I’m currently working on several new designs which I’m very excited about. It’s always a challenge to pick out a favorite but I do think I have some contenders in the works, keep your eyes peeled for new collections this year!
