You're invited to Cero's Zero Waste Kitchen Workshop: In this workshop, you'll learn the goals of a zero waste kitchen and some of the ways to get there. We'll share some easy systems to try, local resources, and more. This is a conversational session and you're encouraged to bring questions and ideas. This is also an opportunity to connect with like-minded folks. While this is designed to be an introduction to a zero waste kitchen, all skill levels are welcome and encouraged to join. Limit 12 in person guests. 

Workshop Overview

  • 10:00-10:40am Welcome, introductions, and dive in to material
  • 10:40-10:50am Q&A and reflection
  • 10:50-11:00am-ish: Free time to connect and hang
  • Attendees will receive a take-home zero waste map print of Tucson 
  • Fresh coffee from Exo Roast Co.
  • Refreshments and light snacks will be provided (Always vegan)
  • **Please mask indoors unless actively eating/drinking**

This workshop will be led by Cero cofounder, Val Timin, who has been practicing sustainable living for over a decade and co-running a zero waste business for the last two. Val has expertise to share for general sustainable living as well as Tucson-specific tips.

Purchase your preferred ticket price between $5 to $25. We'll use the customer information you provide for your RSVP & for event reminders. Sliding scale pricing will be offered for all Cero events to make the materials accessible while allowing us to fundraise for our shop. Proceeds from Cero's events & workshops will help us grow our zero waste shop and provide more for you and the community.

Where

In-person event at Cero located at 228 S Tucson Blvd. There is additional parking behind building if needed. Masks optional for fully vaccinated individuals.
